Breeding conditions:
|
| Rodents were not observed, and their low numbers were, probably, responsible for low density of breeding Rough-legged Buzzards. Arctic and Red foxes are intensively hunted for by local people, and were not seen in the period of surveys. Swans and geese do not breed here due to human disturbance. Reproduction of typical tundra bird species was successful, but some invaders from the south (Brambling) were loosing chicks in nests from cold.
